Membership Application Form

Step 1 of 6

  • Criteria for Applications

    • The application must be made by a national/ regional/ professional craft representative organisation.
    • The application must be fit to purpose and clearly demonstrate the remit of the organisation in developing the craft sector.
    • The application will not be accepted without appropriate material included i.e. organisation print and image material, strategic plan (if applicable), an outline or copy of your constitution and a fully completed application form.

    Guidance Notes

    • The board of WCC Europe will assess and approve applications. In the event where consensus cannot be reached the application will be brought to the General Assembly to be agreed by member vote.
    • The organisation will be notified, following assessment as to whether their application was successful within 4 weeks of board meetings.
    • Each application is considered on its own merit.

    Section 1: Organisation Details

  • Organisation Criteria

  • National Craft Representative Organisations

    • Must be the national representative organisation
    • Have a mandate to deliver initiatives and policies to support, stimulate and develop the sector
    • Be in receipt of public and or EU funding
    • Have a strategy for national development

    Regional Craft Representative Organisations

    • Have a mandate to deliver initiatives and policies to support, stimulate and develop the sector
    • Be in receipt of funding through EU, municipalities, local or regional government
    • Have a strategy for regional development

    Professional Craft Organisations

    • Having a national or regional remit - membership based guilds, associations etc
    • A membership based professional organisation representative of a specific craft discipline(s)

  • e.g. professionals, organisations, craftspeople etc.
