30 creators from 12 countries are showcasing over 60 pieces at the Biennial of Contemporary Glass Jewellery – FUSION 2024 exhibition at the MAVA – Museum of Contemporary Glass Art in Alcorcón, Spain, The selection is presented in a special bilingual (English/Spanish) online catalogue with images of each selected work. 

FUSION 2024 brings a representative sample of glass-jewellery makers spanning from well-established artists to young creators just starting their journey. The works highlight mediums ranging from borosilicate glass and Murano glass to lampwork glass and fused glass, complemented by materials like sterling silver, stainless steel, steel wire, brass and various precious metals. In addition, the applied works employing techniques including casting, fusing, lampworking and coldworking, providing visitors with an insight into the diverse approaches used within contemporary glass jewellery design.

The selected works were chosen by a jury of experts from various sectors via an open call that received applications from all over Europe, with 87 creators from 26 different countries submitting a total of 171 pieces for consideration. More here>>
