The Renew Europe (RE) Group and its President Stéphane Séjourné invites Crafts Organization to a Webinar, organised on 2 March 2022 from 14:30 to 17:00 in the presence of Commissioner Thierry Breton, in order to discuss the proposal of the European Commission for an EU-wide Geographical Indication (GI) protection system for craft and industrial products (CIP).

We will try to analyse, amongst others, how the European Parliament could craft a market-friendly and an open protection system in line with the Green Deal. How can we help the producers, which are most often micro and small enterprises from rural areas, to have a cost-effective and EU wide legal safety?

Consult the agenda here: Agenda RE event on EU CI GI _ 02.03.2022

The webinar is public. Feel free to share the info with your colleagues and stakeholders. This event is co-organised by Renew Europe MEPs Dita Charanzová, Nicola Danti and Adrián Vázquez Lázara.
