The next edition of the Portuguese National Handicraft Fair (PNHF), which will take place from July 23rd to August 7th, is dedicated to young artisans, accordingly with the 2022 European Year of Youth as it is proclaimed by the European Union, and aims to give them a central space in the fairground.
In this sense, PNHF is opening applications for young European artisans, providing them with special conditions for participation. The National Handicraft Fair takes place in a central garden of the city, with 11,000 m2 and is structured in about 170 modules, where the artisans during the 16 days present their creations to an interested public and that has exceeded 250,000 visitors.

1. REQUIREMENTS
Application is only allowed to young artisans under the age of 30, and who guarantee to stay for the 16 days.
2. PARTICIPATION
The selected young artisans will occupy a common space, created for this purpose, free of charge at this 44th NATIONAL HANDICRAFTS FAIR. During the 16 days of the event (from July 23rd to August 7h, 2022), the opening hours will be from Monday to Thursday from 17:00 to 24:00, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 15:00 to 24:00. Live demonstration of work in front of the public is desirable and preferable condition. Accommodation and food will be on behalf of the Organization, as well as a contribution to transport costs.
3. APPLICATION
Interested artisans must send the Application (Appendix A). All documentation must be received, under penalty of exclusion until April 15th, 2022, and may be sent, together with the required photographic documentation (see attachment A), by email to: geral@adapvc.pt
4. ADMISSION
The Organization reserves the right to review all application forms received within the deadline and communicate acceptance by April 28th, 2022 to the selected young artisans.
