Contemporary Craft Courses available in Florence

WCC Europe has been informed of two separate opportunities for makers to develop their skills:
The Stefano Bemer company has initiated a training program to give those who wish to acquire shoemaking skills a chance to learn and practice from our own team of experts. The course is divided into three segments and is designed to teach one all the necessary skills to create handmade shoes from start to finish.




TRAINING PROGRAM 2020

Apprentice Level: January 20 until March 27, 2020 (8000 Euros)

Artisan Level: March 30th until June 26th, 2020 (13800 Euros for both Apprentice & Artisan levels)

EARLY BIRD OFFER: 12420.00 EUROS

Maestro Level: July – December 2020, by admission only, To be determined (5000 Euros)

PROFESSIONAL COURSES

Scuola del Cuoio Long Term Programs provide students with a fully immersive experience into the traditional craft of leather working. The courses are designed with a focus on the technical aspects of bag making, particularly in the area of pattern making and construction process. The aim is to provide students with the skill-set to realize their ideas and creativity into an actual finalized product. Long term programs are offered in Apprentice Level and Artisan Level to participants who are over 18.Scuola del Cuoio is pleased to offer scholarships to Italians unprivileged, awarded by administrators of Scuola del Cuoio.

The courses are taught in both English and Italian. Students who attend the Artisan level course will be automatically enrolled into an Italian language course.
