The Director (Chief Executive Officer) will lead a diverse programme which increases opportunities for makers and develops their creative and business practice, while growing public awareness, understanding and appreciation of craft.

The successful candidate will build on an exciting period of growth and success, as the national development agency for craft expands its reach and commitment to quality and excellence. As an inspirational champion for the sector, you will drive action, build partnerships and influence a wide spectrum of people and organisations, from makers to cultural institutions, government agencies to funders. You will be a supportive and motivating team leader, with a track record of business planning, project management, financial control and fundraising / income development.

You should have an understanding of and be ambitious for the sector, with a passion for contemporary craft.
