Rules
Initiated in 2009, in partnership with the City of Mons, WCC-Europe and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the European Prize for Applied Arts rewards creations of contemporary expression in the field of applied arts and handcrafted design. A 5th edition which will celebrate the 40 years of the association.
This competition is open to all creators in the field of applied arts and craft design, residing in a European country (including non-European Union countries).
The works selected for the competition will be of high quality, both technical and aesthetic and innovative in nature.
Two prizes for the winners
The Prize of the Ministry of Culture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation of a value of €3,500
The Prize of the WCC Europe of a value of €3,500
Two moments at the Grande Halle of the Site des Anciens Abattoirs de Mons in Belgium
The exhibition: 12.12.2021> 13.03.2022

Practical information in the regulations

This 5th edition will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the association.
This competition is for all artists working in the field of applied arts and artisanal design and residing in a European country (including non-EU members).
The works selected for the competition must be of a high standard, both technically and aesthetically, and be innovative.
