ÚĽUV Gallery in Bratislava – Slovakia hosts the RINGS IN WATER 2022 exhibition which is open to the public until March 31st 2023.
The competition of the same name has been organised by the Centre for Folk Art Production at two-yearly intervals since 2000. It promotes and links the practice of craftsmanship with contemporary design approaches. It is a platform for confrontation of applied art works, artistic craftmanship and design inspired by traditional craft. The 11th edition of the competition involved students from secondary and higher education institutions with a focus on art, designers, artists and traditional producers of arts and crafts products from Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary. Out of 356 entered works, the international jury selected the final presentation of 180 works.

The exhibition in the ÚĽUV Gallery in Bratislava is a showcase of the award-winning works of the current year. These works develop a dialogue about traditional values, their preservation and their form in contemporary craft, applied art and design.
