Once again, the Craft Week of Catalonia arrives, which will take place between October 7 and 13, 2019 in this VIII edition .

Under the motto “Divine Crafts ” (*), we demand craft as a cross-cutting element in our society because of its great cultural, social, heritage and economic value , which unites knowledge (from technique and materials), art (creativity and innovation), identity (tradition and contemporaneity) and international character (local and universal).

We also vindicate its social value , as an identity fact and as a vehicle of unique and unique expression that makes us reach the whole world.

During these seven days a group of activities of promotion, knowledge and dissemination of Catalan crafts will be concentrated throughout the territory.

These activities are quite varied, and they consist of guided visits of emblematic buildings – where craftsmanship is an essential presence -, the first Audiovisual Exhibition on Crafts that takes place in Catalonia, family and children’s activities, demonstrations by profession , conferences, round tables, debates, masterclasses , presentations, exhibitions, open days, fairs, among other proposals.

See the program of activities that you will find on this page. You will find activities of interest to you anywhere in the country. Some of them, due to capacity issues, need a pre-registration, the form will be found in the definition of the activity in question.

The Week of Crafts of Catalonia is an activity promoted by the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM). Find out more HERE
